At Synergy, CSR is not a check box activity conducted as a customary action but its omni-present in our thoughts. The culture within the leadership and management team is that - what goes around, comes around. At the same time, we like the word anonymous. Several villages around our manufacturing plant have seen remarkable progress.
We are talking about education, medical facilities, check-ups and uplifting those who were riddled with the hardships that come with poverty.
We will be switching to renewable energy sources which will make up 50% of our energy supply. The aim is to reduce our carbon footprint and the demand on earth’s diminishing resources. Going forward, we hope to set an example of responsibility among our peers and future generations to adopt similar cleaner and greener approaches.
At Synergy Steels Limited, we take pride in our commitment to corporate social responsibility, striving to make a positive impact on the communities we operate in. Our initiatives and efforts reflect our dedication to social, environmental, and educational causes as part of our corporate social responsibilities.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we actively participated in replenishing oxygen cylinders to support the healthcare infrastructure in Rajasthan. We also contributed to the Ghar-Ghar Aushadhi Yojana.
In accordance with the environmental regulations, we incurred costs for waste disposal in tandem with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Alwar, emphasising our commitment to public health.
Understanding the importance of water supply, we provided Alwar City with over 65,000 litres of drinking water every day for a month at a time of necessity. Additionally, we worked on park development, the construction of walls and paver blocks, and the beautification of the Matsya Industrial Area.
Our support extended to educational institutions, including assistance to Government Commerce College and donations to G.D. College in Alwar.
As part of our CSR efforts, we have also extended our support to NGOs such as Manav Kalyan and Mera Parivar, who work towards empowering and enabling communities through education, lively hood, and multi-stakeholder partnerships, as well as providing sustainable social and welfare development for the communities. These initiatives underscore our embodying our values of community, sustainability, and positive impact.
